Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

Short links can be misused to disguise harmful destinations. This policy keeps urlr safe for everyone by setting clear limits on what you can link to and how you can use the service.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not create links that point to:

• Malware, viruses, or any code intended to harm a device or network.
• Phishing pages or other attempts to deceive people into revealing credentials or payment details.
• Illegal content, or content that facilitates illegal activity.
• Spam campaigns or unsolicited bulk messaging.
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), which we report to the appropriate authorities.

Links to prohibited content result in immediate termination of the associated account.

3. Prohibited Conduct

• Circumventing or attempting to circumvent rate limits.
• Scraping the service or its analytics without authorization.
• Reselling or redistributing access to urlr without our written permission.
• Interfering with the operation, security, or integrity of the service.

4. Reporting Abuse

If you encounter a urlr link that violates this policy, report it to abuse@urlr.io. We review reported links and maintain a domain blacklist; blocked domains are prevented from being shortened and existing links to them can be disabled.

5. Enforcement

We may disable links, suspend accounts, or terminate access for violations of this policy, with or without notice depending on severity. Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version.
